Corina Couture Alterations is a specialist bridal and evening wear alteration studio based in Rolleston, serving brides across Selwyn and Canterbury.
Corina is a master tailor with decades of experience, including bridal work for local bridal boutiques, sample work for top New Zealand fashion houses and over ten years developing alteration businesses and training their teams across the country. She brings that skill to every fitting, so your dress fits beautifully and you feel confident on your special day.
Alongside bridal gowns, Corina alters bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses, evening and formal wear, and everyday clothing, including all your favourite pieces. She also alters and repairs curtains. Every bride receives a free in-studio consultation, with home visits available on request.

I hated my wedding dress, but my mum loved it! The things we do to make our parents happy 😊
Besides hating it, a good friend pointed out that the bodice looked like it was made from scraps and was poorly made - it probably would have fallen apart during the wedding! ... and yes it was purchased from a reputable bridal salon in Wanganui 😏
The neckline and waistline wasn't nicely finished. AND it had hideous hankerchief sleeves! 🤢🤮
How could I wear something I hated?😭😭

Corina had to make a complete new bodice - so I took the opportunity to have something I really wanted - a dress which was slightly off the shoulders💗
I'm super super super happy with it - and yes I cried happy tears😅. It was streamlined and just bloody perfect🥰😍🥰. Without the changes I would have hated my wedding day (I even considered just wearing jeans and a tee...😥).
Oh and don't forget the beautiful floaty veil which she made! 😍😍😍
